We're off to Anstruther again. Just before everyone heads off to the closing Ceilidh of the Fence Homegame on Sunday 14 March, we'll be doing a spot at 10.30 pm in the lovely Hew Scott Hall. We'll be putting together a special scratch Homegame team based around Rocketnumbernine drummer Tom Page, singer Hannah Caughlin and Stephen Cracknell with one or two special guests and probably someone playing a thumb piano. Expect the usual mix of balearic covers, pagan sex music and the odd singalong and we might even play something off the new album as well.

Due to a server move we've lost quite a few news entries. We have a show on March 1st at the Electroacoustic Club. Full details can be found at the Electroacoustic Club website
As ever we have a slightly different line up from the last show so here's a run down of who will be performing with us on the night.
It's a show with a full rhythm section and I'm delighted to say that Jon Thorne will be bringing his double bass down from Manchester. Jon, perhaps best known for his work in Lamb, has been touring this year with both John Smith and Lou Rhodes. I first worked with him when he played with The Accidental and it's always a pleasure to share a stage with him. Completing our new rhythm section is drummer Tom Page whose own band Rocketnumbernine, a mix of live drums and electronics in conjunction with his brother Ben, will be touring with Four Tet this spring. If you get the chance go and see them live.
Singing with us on the night will be Jess Roberts from Sunderland, whose voice you can hear gracing our track A New Skin on the music player on our facebook page. As well as bringing her soulful blues-edged vocals, Jess is also a demon on the tambourine. Joining Jess on the mic will be Londoner Hannah Caughlin from The Accidental and The Bicycle Thieves, whose voice has recently been featured in episodes of our favourite US TV show Chuck.
From Salisbury we welcome Sarah Scutt on accordian and recorder whom many of you may know from her work in James Yorkston's Athletes and in Devon Sproule's band and also as musical arranger on our Wicker Man shows last year. On Viola will be Quinta, who is currently working on the follow up to her wonderful debut album "My Sister, Boudicca".
By this point we'll have used up all the inputs on the sound desk at the Slaughtered Lamb but regardless of that Manchester folk songstress Jenny McCormick, currently recording her second album in London, will join us onstage for a number or two as will the original Selston dreamer himself Liam Bailey, whose debut album recorded for Polydor is already making tongues wag and fresh from hanging with the soap-stars at the folk awards Sam Carter has promised to add a bit of class to our humble clatterings.
As ever I will be your host for proceedings, we'll be doing songs from the new album which features all the above as well as many of our more long standing collaborators, it promises to be a fun night with fine support from Padraig Whelan and we aim to celebrate St David's Day in style.
